This is long-life tofu that can be stored at room temperature. Made from Japanese soybeans, it has a firm yet smooth texture typical of silken tofu. We don't use preservatives, because our special paper packaging and production technology help us to preserve freshness. Usually, Japanese people enjoy silken tofu as hiyayakko (chilled tofu), but is also delicious when topped with wasabi and soy sauce. It can also be a flavorful addition to dishes like pad thai and soups.
